Jordan H. Carver makes ceramic objects in New York. Most of his work is handbuilt. Sometimes it is wheel thrown or made with onggi techniques taught by Kwak Kyung Tae. Often he uses a combination of techniques, clays, slips, and glazes. Jordan is also a transdisciplinary cultural historian teaching architecture history, theory, and design at Yale University.
